Obituary of Vladimir Vukobratovic
October 19th, 1924 – November 6th, 2022
We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, on Sunday, November 6th, 2022. Vladimir entered into Heaven peacefully with family by his side. Reunited with his beloved wife Zorka of 67 years. Cherished father of Desa and her husband Mirko Zivkovic. Devoted grandfather of Vladimir and Rajka Zivkovic, Milka and Sasa Popovic, Alex and Vincy Zivkovic. “Gede Vlado” will be dearly missed by his great-grandchildren Marko, Adriana, Aleks, Dimitri, Isabella and Sasa. Waiting for him in heaven is great-granddaughter Alivia. Gede Vlado will be sadly missed by many family, kumovi, and friends in Canada and abroad. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Macassa Lodge, Juravinski and Hamilton General Hospital who took great care of Gede for us. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 9th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton, on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
