Vivian Duggan Carter – age 88 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, a graduate of Carter High School and Carson-Newman University.
Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Bobby Earl Carter; parents, Zachary T. Duggan, Jr. and Geneva Cannon Duggan; and a special aunt, Gladys Cannon Henry.
Survivors include daughter, Janelle (John) Howard of Xenia, OH; son, David Duggan Carter of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Laura (Mike) Conley; and great grandchildren, Brayden and Madison Conley; sister-in-law, Glenda (Frank) Blake of Kodak, TN; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home with Pastor Robert L. Haskins officiating followed by a 2:00 PM interment at Eastview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
