Obituary of Vittorio Bortolin
BORTOLIN Vittorio February 24, 1928 – November 12, 2022
Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on November 12, 2022 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Anna for 58 years and adored father of Gloria (Stephen) and Susan.
Dear brother of Lorenzo (2005) and wife Vittoria (2009), Rolando and wife Giovanna (2019), Giacomo (1991), Luigia Costella (2019) and husband Giuseppe (1990), all of Windsor, and Ottorino and wife Beverly, of Guelph. Cherished brother-in-law of Mario Venturini, Giuliano and wife Vanda Venturini, and Letizia and husband Antimo Mancini, all of Fano, Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in both Canada and Italy.
Born in Prata di Pordenone, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Vittorio was 24 years old when he left Italy for Pier 21 to start a new life in Canada. He retired from Elmara Construction in 1993 after many years building and maintaining pools. Vittorio was a proud member of the Fogolar Furlan Club.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Central Chapel, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, November 16th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17th at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Mausoleum.
