ANDERSON: “Snooks” Virginia Arlene
It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia “Snooks” Anderson announce her passing on Sunday January 9, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. Snooks was born on the Six Nations Reserve and was Mohawk, Turtle Clan. Loving daughter of Bernice Davis (General) and the late Leonard Anderson. She is survived by her 3 children Colin (Colleen), Shani, and Jeffrey (Lindsay) ; sister Jean, Deb (late Russ), Joyce, Delores, and Nancy, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by brother Melvin “Mutt” General, and sister Lois Anderson, grandsons, Aaron, and Elijah, and great-grandson Kayden. “Snooks” AKA “Nan” was a generous, loving, caring, witty, and humorous person and will be deeply missed. She was the heart of her family and loved by everyone. As she begins her journey back to the arms of the Creator we all say thank you for her beautiful light and loving spirit.
