Blair, Violetta Marie – Age 75, passed away after a short battle with cancer on September 5, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Violetta was born in Westchester, a daughter of Mabel (Work) MacFadden.
Vi was loved by all who knew her. Even the nurses in her ward were touched by her smiles and cheerful ways. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with family, friends and her cat, Buddy.
In addition to her mom, she was predeceased by her life partner, Edward Letcher and granddaughter, Kayla Dawn Blair.
Surviving are her son, Randy Blair and his wife, Lisa, Calgary; daughters, Lolita Blair and her partner, Lee White, Truro; Juanita Whidden-Blair and her partner, Tony Archibald, Truro; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Vi did not want to have a funeral so please do not send flowers. If you wish, you may make a donation to Canadian Cancer Society in memory of her.
