Robertson, Violet Irene (nee Wilson/MacAllister)
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother Violet Robertson, on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at the Southampton Hospital at the age of 93. Adored wife of the late Donald John Robertson (2005). Loving mother of Linda and her partner Jack Evans of Orillia, Heather and her husband Murray McIntosh of Southampton and Judy and her husband Dave McKinnon of Port Elgin. Proud grandmother of Stewart Buckton, Michael McIntosh, Jerrica (nee McKinnon) and her husband, Chris Metcalf, Donald McKinnon and his wife Taryn and Morgan McIntosh, and great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren. Survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Archibald & Hannah MacAllister, and by her siblings Margaret, Howard, Elsie, and Albert.
Voilet and Don raised their family on a farm at Arran Lake until 1973, they moved to Southampton to enjoy retirement. The family will miss Violet and always will.
A Family Graveside Service will be held at the Southampton Cemetery on Friday July 29, 2022. Expressions of Remembrance to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation CT Scanner or to the Salvation Army.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Robertson family in the passing of Violet. She was deeply loved by family and community, and will be greatly missed. I will always remember her kindness and wonderful sense of humour.
I send sympathy and comfort to you three girls and your families. You will all feel a great loss with Vi passing. She was a person very difficult to forget once you met her. Many humorous memories and great times she leaves us with. Keep the stories and memories close in your heart.
