In Loving Memory
Veinotte, Violet Irene – Age 93 of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away peacefully Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Grand View Manor, Berwick with family by her side. Born May 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Winnifred (Daniels) Robar of North River. She is survived by daughter, Kathy (Danny) Oikle, Kingston; granddaughter, Terri-Lyn (Travis) Pelley, Lower Sackville; great grandsons, Jayce, and Taydem; step great granddaughter, Samara; great great grandson, Emery; many nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her husband, Lyman; sisters, Ruby, Elva, Phyllis, and Gloria; special friend, Eugene; several nieces and nephews. She was the epitome of a strong survivor. She has beat many odds in her life which was not an easy one. Her family was the light of her life, who always came first. She would light up like a light bulb at the mention of any of their names. It has been a long road watching dementia consume her and she put up a fight like no other in her last few days. She earned her wings and can now rest easy. A special thank you to the staff of Grand View Manor and those who helped comfort Violet and her family in the Serenity suite. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 11th in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Middleton toll free: 1-855-825-3448 where a funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Oct 12th. Rev. Deborah Lonergan-Freake officiating. Interment will follow in North Kingston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
