It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Viola Clara Cortese (nee Blanchard) at the age of 95. She was the loving wife to the late Frank Cortese and a loving mother to Nancy, Frank, Paul, Theresa, Catherine and their spouses. Cherished GG to her 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. You were loved by all and will be missed dearly
The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday February 5, 2022. The final rite of committal and Interment will take place Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery (305 Erskine Ave. Toronto). Online condolences & directions may be found at www.catholic-cemeteries.com
Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, we are inviting family and friends to a walk-through visitation only to pay their respects, offer condolences and then kindly exit the building to allow for others to enter.
