Vie Chamberlain left this life for her eternal life on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Rosebridge Manor in Jasper, ON, one month short of her 97 th birthday. She was born in Ellesmere, England and came to Canada at the age of two. Dear mother of Darrell (Debby), Roger (Shirley), Penny Davis (Gord), and Holly. Loved Grandmother of Eric Chamberlain, Andrea Hunt, Brooke Simpson, Erin Broeders, Owen Chamberlain, Tim Davis, Tyler Davis, Kristin Hoffort and Bonnie Amy. Vie also leaves 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Eliza Owens, her husband of 73 years, Jim, as well as her two sisters and best friends, Connie Baker and Betty McFadden. She was also predeceased by a nephew, Ted Brooks and a niece, Kathy Malcolm. Vie leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the Highway Pentecostal Church, 800 Stewart Blvd Brockville on Saturday, October 1 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Lyn Cemetery. .Donations are directed to the Ontario SPCA – Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre, War Amps or HPC Young at Heart Program (online at highwaychurch.net or by e-transfer to info@highwaychurch.net or call 613-342-4075; Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E, Brockville.
