GIESBRECHT, Victoria Maryanne (nee Caron)
1939 – 2022
Victoria (Vicki) Maryanne Giesbrecht (nee Caron) was born in Saskatoon on May 24, 1939. Her parents were Joe Caron and Marie Flora Caron (nee Trottier). Vicki is survived by her husband Len, her children Darren, Sheri (Corey Fengstad), Michelle (Dana Uhryniw), her grandchildren Brandon, Brandi, and Alex, and 2 great grandchildren Alera and Rilee. She is pre-deceased by her parents and her siblings Mick, Oliver, Mary, Bertha, and Lugar, and is survived by her twin brother Ken. Vicki spent her early years growing up on the farm at Round Prairie until 1949. The family then moved into Saskatoon and Vicki started school at King George School. As a young lady, she was always busy helping around the house and looking after her parents and her twin brother. When Vicki was 18, she met her future husband Len Giesbrecht and they later married in 1967. Together they raised their family in Saskatoon with Vicki staying home to care for their 3 children. Vicki passed away on the morning of March 15th, 2022 surrounded by her husband and children. She is lovingly remembered by all the family and friends that were so important to her. A service to celebrate Victoria’s life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Westwood Funeral Chapel, 1402 20th St. West.
