Obituary
Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 the Lord called to Himself Victoria Van Herk in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Gerard Van Herk for 62 years. Loving mother of Cathy (Keith) Zorn, Aron Van Herk (predeceased) and Victor (Cheryl) Van Herk. Proud grandmother of Rory (Melissa), Ryan (Lauryn), Josephine, Kristina (Ben), Levi (Melanie), Jessica and Rebecca; and great-grandmother of Leah, Braeden, Nolan, Eleanor and Atticus. Victoria will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends.
Victoria started her career as a registered nurse where she met her future husband Jerry. They started a life together and had three wonderful children. She was an integral part in helping Jerry start and operate a business in the town of Dundas for many years. Not only was she dedicated to work, but even more so to her family and church. She was diligent and efficient in all that she did. Vicki loved her family and had no limits on her generosity of time and materials. She will be dearly missed as she was deeply loved by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at CALVIN CRC, 420 Hwy. #5 West, Dundas on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 starting at 11 a.m. Private interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Copetown. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
