It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Mrs. Victoria ‘Vicki’ Rose Ball of Red
Deer, Alberta at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Vicki was born on June 10, 1945 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Vicki worked as a Registered Nurse for forty-four years. Vicki was married to the love of her life, Mel for fifty-three years before his passing. They loved to travel together to many places, China, Africa, many European Countries, etc and they went on multiple cruises. She cherished her friends she made along the way; and she was a part of the Red Hat group, part of Parkinson’s Boxing Club, and the Tai Chi Society. Vicki enjoyed gardening, puzzles, playing cards, sewing many of her own outfits throughout her life and she was a very crafty person. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and looked forward to celebrating holidays as a family together. She was a dedicated person to both family and friends and always finished what she started. She was always willing to help wherever she was needed and was a very driven person which served her well throughout her many ventures. She was loved and will be truly missed by all that knew her. Vicki will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Graeme (Jennifer) and Carl (Shannon) and her grandchildren, Liam, Nolan, Quinn and Siena; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Vicki was predeceased by her husband of fifty-three years, Melvin and her brother, Tony Oscienny. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
