1928-2022
Victor passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on July 25 in his 95th year. He was born Jan 2, 1928 in Wernersdorf, Ukraine to Johann and Agatha Braun (Voth). He came to Canada as a refugee in 1949. He worked on several farms before he got a job at General Motors where he worked as a machine operator for 40 years.
He married the love of his life, Elfrieda Janzen, in 1953. She predeceased him in April 2022.
Dear father of Marlene Goertzen (Arnold), Sylvia Enns (Brian) and Victor.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Greg (Katie), Brad (Erin), Tim (Emily), Kari (Brent), Jeff, Nayla (Will), Ramy (Rosa), Atieh (Niall) Jamel (Teresa) and by 13 great grandchildren.
Victor was predeceased by his brothers John, Peter, Henry, Jacob, Kornelius and sister Mary.
He will be missed by sister Erna in Germany, sister-in-law Betty Ann Braun, inlaws Helen and Abe Doerksen, John and Hedy Janzen, Mary and Jerome Marcoux, Susan and Frank Pohorly and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Tallman’s Funeral Home, 3277 King St., Vineland on Tuesday, Aug 2 at 12 noon. Visitation will be one hour prior.
