Obituary of Victor Baerg
Baerg, Victor – It is with great sadness that the family of Victor Baerg announces his passing on January 16, 2022 at Hamilton General Hospital.
Victor was a long-time resident of Vineland, arriving in 1939 and settling on Rittenhouse Road in 1944. He will always be remembered for his community skating rink where people came from far and wide to skate during the winter months.
He leaves behind his wife Anne (Reimer), two sons Dean (Carol Thiessen) and Kenton (Mary Lou), and grandchildren Robert (Rachel Lengyell), Melissa (Eddy Davies), Drew (Megan) and Jacquelyn (Zach Benedetto), Emmet and Logan and great-grandchildren Casey, Isaac, Clark and Isla. Vic was predeceased by sisters Laura (George Enns), Hilda (George Mellon), Edith (Cal Himes), Selma (Robert Bodnar) and Erna (Jim McGovern).
Many thanks to the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for their loving and professional care.
All Provincial Protocols will be in place for the visitation including the wearing of masks at all times.
Visitation will take place on Friday January 21 from 3-4 pm at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King St., Vineland. Pre-registration is required for the visitation. Please CLICK HERE to register.
Due to current COVID restrictions, a private interment and memorial service will be held on Saturday January 22 at 10am. A livestream of the service will be available on the Tallman Funeral Homes Facebook Page.
Memorial donations may be made to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
