Mrs. Verona Rose Schafer passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the age of 96 years. Verona will be lovingly remembered by her son, Larry (Laurie) and her son, Kendall (Susan), and her grandchildren, Cole (Shelley) and their daughter, Wynter; Cal, Peter (Yvonne) and Carolyn. She will also be sadly missed by the Williams and the Anhorn families, and the many friends and neighbors that she made in her travels down south and her moves between Innisfail and Calgary. Verona was predeceased by her husband, Al, and her sisters, Ethel and Emma. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.heartlandfuneralservices.com.
