Findlay, Verna (McLinton)
Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Friday October
28, 2022, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife for 65 years of Osborne
Findlay. Loving mother to Shawn Findlay (Kim), Kevin Findlay (Natalie)
and Darryl Findlay. Cherished Nanny of Ryan (Dani) and Leah (Julien).
Loving daughter of the late Arthur and Ida McLinton. Predeceased by 4
brothers and two sisters. Verna will be sadly missed by several nieces and
nephews, and extended family. Friends may visit at the Kemptville Chapel
of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville
on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 12 noon until the Service in the
Chapel at 1pm. Private interment at the Central Eardley Cemetery,
Luskville, Quebec at a later date. Donations in Verna’s memory may be
made to a charity of choice.
