We part this day with love, peace and kindness in our hearts.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vern. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Mooney) 58 years. Dear father of Dean (Jackie), Brent. Beloved Papa to Rebecca, Curtis and Tyler. Predeceased by parents Svea and Dorothy, and sister Margaret. Brother of Norman, Katherine (Richard), Alan (Evelyn), Glen (Donna). Beloved son-in-law of the late W. Earl Mooney (Jean). Survived by the Ottawa family Mavis (John), Bruce (Ellen). Also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Vern proudly served in the Canadian Army Signal Corp. At Vern’s request cremation has taken place. Flowers regretfully declined.
