Verley Irene Randall 1930 2022

Obituary of Verley Irene Randall
Verley Randall passed away after a brief illness Thursday, March 3, 2022, the day before her 92nd birthday. Verley served her community in many volunteer roles, including over 40 years as a member of Lioness Clubs.
She was the loving wife of William Pitcher from 1952 until he passed in 1991 and of Walter Randall from 2004 until his death in 2019; the devoted mom of five kids, Lorna (Steve Lassey), Linda (Brian Huntley), Tracy (Randall Barnes), Janice (Tim McCabe), and Robert (Susan); cherished step-mom of Barbara Randall-Stinson (Richard Stinson) and Marilyn Brewer (Chester); loving grandmom to Bennett Huntley, Rowan and Liam McCabe, Caleb Barnes and Ryan Pitcher; and a kind , generous friend to countless people.
She was predeceased by two of her five siblings, Nancy James and Walter Kendall and is survived by sisters, Marie Hayton and Barbara Connolly; brother, John Jayne and many nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her quick wit, determined attitude, eagerness to help, her many skills and her hugs. Her family feels lucky and grateful to have had her in our corner for so many years and we take comfort she is at peace and hopefully snuggling with Walter in the next life.
Love you always Mom.
Many thanks to the dedicated staff at Shannex Thomas Hall. A Memorial Service and interment will be held at a later date, with York Funeral Home coordinating arrangements. In lieu of flowers her family suggests making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
