It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Valerie May Cyr, Loving Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, Daughter Sister Aunt and Friend. Valerie is predeceased by her mother Mary Lucy Cyr; siblings Mary (Cook), Beverly and Floyd; nephews Big Mike and Marty; grandson Christian. Valerie is survived by her father Frank Cyr; partner Thomas Squirrel; children Brad Cyr (Laurel), Charity (Bob), Billy-Jack, Desiree and Danielle Bird; brothers Mervin (Joan), Gerald Dennis (Myra) Randy (Loretta), Gerald (Cheryl) and Trevor Sister Kim (Kevin); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Wake will be held Friday, April 29 2022 at 4 pm in the old gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 30 2022 at 11 am in the same location. Burial to follow at the Longman cemetery.
