Obituary
Valerie Ann Thornhill, born in Ashford, Kent, England on April 3, 1945 passed peacefully at Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on October 6, 2022.
Survived and forever missed by husband, Arthur; son, Bruce (Joanne) and grandchildren Kyle and Amelia (Janelle); daughter Pamela Kwan (Kwok) and grandchildren Shen and Grace; sisters Daphne and Millie (Seymour); brothers Rod (Jessie), Bob (Susan) and Jeff; step-sisters Rita (Herb) and Loretta (Ralph); stepbrother Chesley; sister-in-law Roeann (Aubrey); brother-in-law Larry (Sandy) and many nieces and nephews. Valerie was predeceased by her father, William Cake; mother Amelia (Martin) Cake; step-mother Hilda and brothers-in-law Edgar Lovell and Howard Thornhill.
A memorial service will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, Alberta) on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a time for fellowship to follow at the Wetaskiwin Seniors Centre (5216 54 Street, Wetaskiwin, Alberta). This will be livestreamed, and will be made available at this page at the time of service.
Cremation has occurred.
