Valda Duffett, age 87, passed peacefully away on August 9th, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Predeceased by her husband, Jim; parents: Tom and Jessie Rothman; sister, Marie (Ed) and brothers: Stephen, David, Clarence, Peter (Jessie) and baby brother, David. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Gary (Kelly) and Sandra; grandchildren: Joey and Victoria; brothers: Fred and Jim (Wendy); nieces: Susan and Debbie (Kevin). A special thank you to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, 4th floor, for their care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 from 10am-12pm. Funeral Service will take place from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 2:00pm with an internment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
