A Celebration of Life will be held on FRIDAY, AUGUST, 19, 2022, at 3:00 PM, at, SPRINGFILED FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
On June 29, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones, Gerda Tietz passed peacefully to whatever waits for her in the beyond, at the Central Okanagan Hospice House in Kelowna, BC.
Gerda’s memory will be treasured by her children Klaus (Sheila), Karin (Maurice), Kornelia, Karla (Dale), Wolfgang (Bonnie), Evelyn (Art), Jerry, and Marilyn (Jerry); son-in-law Eric (spouse of Klaudia); 17 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren with more on the way. She was predeceased by her husband Manfred; her daughter Klaudia; and grandson Richard.
The family would like to thank Hospice House for the excellent end-of-life care. Many thanks also go out to the many community health workers who came to see Gerda these last few years in her home. Gerda enjoyed each and every one of them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice House.
