Anne Tucker passed away peacefully on May 23, 2022, surrounded by family, in Kelowna, BC.
Left to treasure her memory are Ralph, her husband of 40 years; her children Jason (Cassandra), Aaron (Shannon), and Greg (Jeanette); grandchildren Jayden, Lucas, MacKenzie, Brantley, and Adeline; mother Sally Garrard; siblings Gordon and Robin Garrard; nieces Leanne (Dallas) Rivet, and Reese Rivet; nephew Campbell (Wendy) Garrard; and long time friends Mary and Ray Alyward. Anne was predeceased by her father Patrick Garrard (d. 1996).
Anne was born on October 20, 1960, in Nanaimo, BC, and raised in Gold Bridge, BC. She moved to Kamloops to work before settling in Kelowna in 1986 to start a family. She was known to be passionate, fearless, devoted, and compassionate. She was involved in the community; volunteering with Girl Guides; and Scouts Canada, and coaching softball. Anne worked for Scotiabank for 40 years.
A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 1:00 pm in her garden at the family home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation, or the Central Okanagan Hospice House.

  1. A wonderful memory of Anne, who served as my District Sccout Commissioner while I was the Regional Commissioner. She was a very bright spark in the lives
    of our Scouting community.
