Travis Craig Northcott Friday March 11th 2022

Travis Northcott
Travis was 56 years of age when he passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, March 11, 2022, after a long struggle with addiction.
Travis was born in Hornepayne, Ontario on July 30th, 1965, to Areta and Keith Northcott. The whole family moved to Dryden not too long after. Travis eventually went to Thunder Bay for school for small engine repair at Con College. Then back to Dryden again in 1991 where he started work at the MNR and has worked for them since at various positions out of Dryden and Thunder Bay. His last position was his favourite, on the Logistics crew, the job also played into his love for the outdoors, if he wasn’t fishing, he was talking about fishing and about the fish he caught. He loved to help people and to make their day, whether it was helping someone with their motor or a strong arm to help you get something done.
Travis is survived by his daughters Michelle (Ian) and Jessica. His grandchildren include Stevie, Jett, Jaxx, Jaya and Jessa. His siblings are Rick (Jenny), Wendy, Cheryle (Gerry), Jeff (Shelly) and Val (Dan). Also, many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
He was predeceased by his parents Keith and Reta Northcott.
A celebration of Travis’ life will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore street Thunder Bay.
Should friends so desire, donations can be made in his name to the CAMH foundation and would be appreciated.
