BUTTERFIELD, Tracy Gail
March 17, 1969– December 29, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tracy Gail Butterfield (nee Owen), who left us unexpectedly, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
Tracy was born in Maple Ridge and raised in Kelowna, BC. She met the love of her life, Al at a Christmas party in 1987 before marrying in September of 1988 and welcoming their two children. Tracy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin,and friend; but her favorite title was grandmother. There is nothing she loved more than having her entire family under one roof and seeing the joy on her kids and grandkids faces no matter the occasion. We will remember her for her generous spirit, her kind and warm demeanor and her unconditional love for her family and friends.
Tracy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Al Butterfield, her brothers Ken (Caroline) Owen and Greg (Lori Garbutt) Owen and her sisters Debbie Scheurer and Cindy (Dean) Cappadocia. Her children Brodie (Danielle) Butterfield and Brooke (Tyler Willner) Butterfield, her grandchildren Cole and Rilynn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tracy was predeceased by her parents Tom and Jean Owen.
Everyone is encouraged to remember Tracy in their own way and think of her when they witness gentle acts of kindness. We will miss her dearly and love her forever.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring for family and close friends.
