Tracey McLaughlin 19682022

Tracey McLaughlin
1968-2022
Tracey Leigh McLaughlin of Havelock, born March 18, 1968,
passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 1st, 2022.
She was the daughter of Byron (Bob) and Linda Thorne of Havelock and
the late Gary (Alice) Jones of Petitcodiac. Tracey spent her younger
years of life growing up in havelock, attending Havelock school and
then graduating from Petitcodiac high school. She furthered her
education by studying business at NBCC Moncton. Her first employment
was with the Moncton Radio Station, CKCW/CFQM, where she spent several
years. She then went on to work for several credit unions. 22 years
ago, she married the love of her life Gary McLaughlin of Lakefield
Road. They were blessed with a son, Izaak, whom they have raised to be
a wonderful young man. Tracey was unique in many ways, she excelled in
being organized, especially when it came to card giving. We all loved
to receive a card covered in stickers or a beautifully wrapped
present. She took joy in her needlepoint work, reading, traveling,
making dish cloths, and letting her beloved dog Jax in and out of the
house every 5 minutes. She was a member of the Havelock Baptist Church
and always enjoyed serving The Lord. Tracey will always be known as
“Willie” coming from her favorite TV show, Little House on
the Prairie. For the last 5 years she spent 3 days a week traveling to
Moncton for dialysis and many hospital stays, while never losing hope
that her kidney transplant would happen.
Tracey is survived and forever missed by her parents, Bob and
Linda; her beloved husband, Gary; son, Izaak (Amy); brother, David
(Tracy) Jones of Petitcodiac; sisters: Vanessa (Chris) Charlton of
Woodstock, Cassey (Shane) Steeves and Tabatha Diepman; Nieces,
Airelle, Kailynn and Savannah; nephews: Corey, Kaleb, Peter and
Hudson, as well as several brother, sisters in law, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Tracey was predeceased by infant sister Amanda Thorne; her
father, Gary Jones; her mother-in-law, Ella McLaughlin; her sisters in
law Theresa Middleton and Eileen McLaughlin.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the
George Dumont Dialysis unit, Clinic C at the Moncton City Hospital and
Dr. Dowe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home (372-4800). A Celebration of Tracey’s Life will
be held on Monday, December 5th at 11:00am at
the Salisbury Funeral Home. A private interment will take place at
Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
