Tomo was born in Pazarista Lika, Croatia and later immigrated to Canada in 1954 where he established deep roots in Windsor. He touched many people’s lives in his 93 years, but was cherished most by his family and will be deeply missed by his sons John and wife Elsa, Tony and wife Margo, daughter Linda and husband Arno, and stepdaughter Natalie Goldman and husband Pete. In his passing, Tomo is reunited with his wife of 50 years, Vera, and is also predeceased by stepson, Michael Batrincha (2018). Loving Deda to Ryan, Jeff, Jason, Rachel, Sarah, Timo, Christoph, Mathius, Daniel, Debbie, Cindy, Alysha and Kyle. Special Great-grandfather to Charlotte, Claire, Chloe, Jacklyn and David. Tomo retired after 33 years from GM. He was passionate about staying active, giving back and making a difference in the community. He was a devoted 3rd degree K of C member Kardinal A.
