Delaney, Thomas “Tom”:
Passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband and best friend of the late Sheilagh (2016) for 47 years. Much loved father of Tracy (Dee), Christopher (Tina), Patricia, and Tom Jr. (Cherie). Special Grandpa of Alex and Michael of Alberta, and Abigail and Sydney of Kitchener. Dear brother of Kathleen Magrane (Tom), Diedre Short (Dermot), Freda Johnston (late James). Fondly remembered by his close companion, Janne, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tom had a lifelong career working for City of Kitchener Transit as bus driver, inspector and finally manager. He enjoyed talking with people, travelling or telling a good story.
Predeceased by, parents, Tom and Harriet and siblings, Patrick (childhood) and Margaret Gallagher (John).
Tom’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree Hospice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
