Obituary of Tiny McFadden
McFADDEN, Kenneth Sherman “Tiny” – age 63 of Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2022. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Ned Merry and Sadie May (Quinn) McFadden.
Tiny worked for Shaw Resources for 30 years. He was a dedicated and hard-working employee. He was a man of his word and was always there for anyone who needed a hand. Tiny’s favourite hobbies included waxing and washing cars, mowing the lawn, spending time with his grandson and his dog, Niena, telling jokes and making sure anyone he was around had a smile on their face.
Tiny is survived by his wife, Tracy; children, Travis, Terrianne (Justin), Meghan (Sam); grandson, Henry, his “little buddy”; sisters, Lucy McFadden, Bernice (Harold) Fraser; brothers, Tim (Vickie), Eddie Knight; many nieces and nephews; “adopted” family members, Nicole and Steven.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronnie Quinn.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held 11 am Friday, May 6th, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. COVID-19 provincial protocols must be adhered to; proof of vaccination and a government issued i.d. must be presented to attend the funeral service. Family flowers only. A private family interment will follow.
