Obituary of Thomas John Bigus
Peacefully on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 at Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario Thomas Bigus of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 71.
Thomas was born September 18th, 1950 in Calgary Alberta. He was pre-deceased by both his parents, Sophie Bigus of Vankleek Hill and William Bigus of Ottawa. Thomas is the cherished brother of the late Barry Bigus (Cheryl), Cheryl Bigus (Dana) and Darlene Bigus-Doheny (John). He was the fond uncle of Donovan (Marc), Jeff (Tammy), the late Treena (Ian), Alison and Leonard (Amanda), as well as great nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a complex and intelligent man, an accomplished drummer and builder of scale models. He will be missed by family and friends.
Deep appreciation is extended to his medical team at Montfort Hospital for their kindness and care. And also to the staff and caregivers at his long-term care home Centre D’accueil Roger Seguin.
Due to current circumstances, a small Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In memory of Thomas, a donation may be made to Centre D’Accueil Roger Seguin, Clarence Creek ON.
