Thomas Wilfred Anderson 1946 2022

ANDERSON, Thomas – Age
75, Canso, Guysborough Co., passed away unexpectedly in Halifax on
Saturday, August 6, 2022, surrounded by family. Dad was enjoying his
retirement in Canso after spending most of his life in Toronto,
raising his family. He retired from the City of Toronto and was a
long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was very proud to be
known as the #1 Shuffle Board player in Ontario, given the name
“Shredder”. Dad had many stories about his teen years on the
fishing boats in Nova Scotia. Most recently he was enjoying the view
of the ocean from his 18ft deck.
He was the son of the late William and Marjorie Anderson;
partner of Nina; father of Janice (Wayne), Tammy (Stephen), Marjorie
(Doc) and Dawn. He will be missed greatly by his grandchildren, Eric,
Jacob, Danielle, Marcus, Rhiannon and Natasha; brothers, Bill
(Angela), Bob (Marta); sisters, Marjorie and Janice; many nieces and
nephews. He will also be missed by many long-time friends in Ontario
and Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by brothers, Cyril and
Jim.
As per his wishes, there will be no services. Please raise a
glass for Dad and go out and find yourself a good deal.
As you ended every call Dad…….bye for
now xo
