Obituary
With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Tom Painter on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 77 years.
He leaves behind his daughter Marcy (Derek) Kulba of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Jared, Dakota, Cheyenne, Darwin and Thomas; sisters Georgina Rintoul of Treherne and Pattie Walsh of Portage la Prairie; sister-in-law Orlia Painter of Anola along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Myrna; parents George and Lorna; son Brian and siblings Helen, Ron Joan and Lorne.
Tom and Myrna were married on January 9, 1971, their daughter Marcy was born in August 1971 followed by their son Brian in January 1975.
He was a stubborn man but loved to tell and hear a good joke. His grandchildren were everything to him and spending time with them and the rest of his family and friends meant the world to him.
No funeral services will be held at this time.
If friends so wish, donations in memory of Tom may be made to a charity of your choice.
