M. Thomas Rossy
de Lac-Simon, autrefois de Montréal, est décédé le mercredi 18 mai 2022 à l’âge de 75 ans. Fils de feu Maurice Rossy et de feu Eva Wilkins.
Il laisse derrière lui ses enfants Nathalie (Keith Turner) et Mélanie (Jean-Philippe Plouffe); la mère de ses enfants Suzanne Robillard; ses petits-enfants Megan et Jérémy; ainsi que ses soeurs Helen et Laureen. Il fut prédécédé par ses frères Howard (feu Renée) et Maurice (feu Lorraine). Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et amis, plus particulièrement, Richard, Bob, Kenny, feu Jimmy, feu Leonard et le reste de la gang, sans oublier son compagnon de tous les jours, celui qui était toujours heureux de le voir, son chien Max.
Homme généreux, il avait le cœur sur la main. Il aidait tout le monde, on pouvait compter sur lui. Il adorait la nature. Le bois lui apportait paix et réconfort. Grand amoureux des animaux, c’est Bear, Kelsey, Smokey et Lucky qui se feront une joie de le revoir car ils sont partis bien avant lui. Clairement, il aura laissé sa trace parmi nous et restera à jamais gravé dans le cœur des siens.
La direction des funérailles a été confiée au Complexe Funéraire Familial de la Petite-Nation Shields Berthiaume 101, rue Principale, St-André-Avellin, Québec (819) 983-6616. Une cérémonie privée aura lieu dans l’intimité familiale à une date ultérieure.
Un merci spécial au personnel du 6ème nord de l’Hôpital de Gatineau, plus particulièrement aux infirmières Carole et Carole-Anne ainsi qu’au Dre. Véronique Lapointe pour les excellents soins prodigués à M. Rossy.

Mr. Thomas Rossy
of Lac-Simon, formerly of Montreal, passed away on Wednesday May 18th, 2022 at the age of 75 years. He was the son of the late Maurice Rossy and of the late Eva Wilkins.
He leaves behind his children: Nathalie (Keith Turner) and Mélanie (Jean-Philippe Plouffe); the mother of his children, Suzanne Robillard; his grandchildren: Megan and Jérémy; as well as his sisters Helen and Laureen. He was predeceased by his brothers: Howard (late Renée) and Maurice (late Lorraine). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends, especially Richard, Bob, Kenny, the late Jimmy, the late Leonard and the rest of the gang, not to mention his daily companion, the one who was always happy to see him, his dog Max.
A generous man, he had his heart on his sleeve. He helped everyone and you could always count on him. He loved nature, the woods brought him peace and comfort. A great lover of animals, it is Bear, Kelsey, Smokey and Lucky who will be happy to see him again because they left long before him. Clearly, he has have left his mark among us and he will remain forever engraved in the hearts of his family.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Complexe Funéraire Familial de la Petite-Nation Shields Berthiaume 101, Principale St., St-André-Avellin, Québec (819) 983-6616. A private ceremony will be held in the privacy of the family at a later date.
A special thank you to the staff of the 6th North of the Gatineau Hospital, especially to the nurses: Carole and Carole-Anne and to Dre. Véronique Lapointe for their excellent care given to Mr. Rossy.

My memories of Mr. Rossy were always pleasant. As Nathalie and I grew up together, i was witness to someone who truly cared for his family. Especially his daughters :).
