Obituary of THOMAS OMER PLOUFFE
THOMAS OMER PLOUFFE
September 18, 1962 – December 9, 2022
It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Thomas Omer Plouffe, after a lengthy illness, on December 9, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at the age of 60 years.
Tom was a son, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and great-uncle. He was predeceased by his Baba, Paulina Lusanko, his father, Albert Plouffe, his aunts and uncles, his brother Albert, step-father Alex Morrissette, and his nephews Calvin and Scott.
Thomas is survived by his mother Jenny Lusanko at Holy Family Home, his brothers Tony and Rob Plouffe, his sisters Pauline (Mike) O’Neill and Florence Jean (Denis) Desjarlais, cousins, nephews and nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
He always greeted us with a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
Thank you to the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) for their specialized support over the years, and to the staff and fellow residents at the Dream Home for their care.
Thomas’ funeral will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Followed by Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
