Thomas Larry Hardwick (Larry) – age 79 of the Carter Community passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a longtime member of Wooddale Church of Christ. Larry served in the U.S. Army seven years with tours in Vietnam and Korea .
Preceded in death by wife, Jane in 2006; parents, Claude and Anna Hardwick; brother, Lawerence Hardwick; and sisters, Katherine Wiant and Shelby Lane.
Survived by son, Matthew; granddaughter, Samantha; great granddaughter, Trinity; brother, Claude (CH) Hardwick; sister, Joyce Hardwick; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Wooddale Church of Christ with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. with Minister Bill Bryant officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, 11:00 AM, Friday, October 21, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wooddale Church of Christ, 7850 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN 37924.
