Theresa Armstrong
1977 ~ 2022
Theresa Dawn Armstrong was born on May 6, 1977, and passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022 at the age of 45 years.
Theresa was an educator with Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools for over 20 years, spending the last 5 years of her career as a Principal. In 2019, she earned her Masters of Education degree, while battling cancer. She coached many teams through school, and was highly involved in her community and loved supporting Shelby and Garrett in whatever sport or activity they were involved in. She was a hands on Mom and a loving wife who gave the best hugs and had an infectious smile and laugh.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Derrick; her daughter, Shelby; son, Garrett; parents, Ken & Gloria Wurban; brothers, Jeremy (niece and nephew Felicity & Gaige) and Darcy (Marney, and their sons Bruce & Roy); grandmother, Ruth Felske; mother and father-in-law, Gordon& Joan Armstrong; brother-in-law Tyler (Lana, nephews Hayes and Will); as well as numerous other relatives, many friends and family far and wide.
Theresa was predeceased by her grandparents; Steve & Elsa Wurban and Alvin Felske and her sister-in-law, Amanda Wurban.
A Celebration of Life for Theresa will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church Wetaskiwin (4910 Northmount Drive, Wetaskiwin, Alberta) with a time of fellowship to follow.
If desired, donations may be made to the New Humble AG School (Box 12, Site 7, RR4, Calmar, Alberta, T0C 0V0), a school dear to Theresa’s heart, or to the charity of your choice.
