WALSH, Terrence Patrick “Terry”- Suddenly on Monday March 21, 2022 in The Villages, Florida. Terry “TP” Walsh of Pembroke, Ontario born in Brockville, Ontario on July 12, 1941 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Beverley Joan Walsh (nee Easton). Loving father of Lisa (Matthew) Bradley and Dave Walsh. Caring Papa of John, Grace and Marie Bradley, and Jack Walsh. Dear older brother of sister Maureen (Grant) Radley-Walters, and brothers Brian (Leona) Walsh, Kevin (Joan) Walsh and Michael (Anne) Walsh and brother-in-law of Lynn (John) Culhane. Terry was blessed with many nieces and nephews and was a very loving uncle of Alison, Elizabeth and Mark Radley-Walters, Sandra, Debbie and Bradley Walsh, Scott and Patti Walsh, Ryan and Meaghan Walsh, Jennifer Culhane, Stuart Easton and Evy Easton. Predeceased by parents Jack and Erma Walsh, his in-laws Ralph and Marie Easton and brother-in-law Vernon Easton. Terry was the loving partner of Louise Moore and shared many special moments with her daughters Janet and Carolyn and their families over the last 14 years of his life.
Terry was known for having an Irish twinkle in his eye and shared many happy moments with family and friends. He enjoyed his time at Round Lake, loved being on the golf course, was known as a passionate fisherman, walking the bush hunting, was a successful bridge player, an educated wine connoisseur, and was an accomplished curler. He knew all the lyrics to many Irish melodies and his rendition of Danny Boy is something that we will always hold dear in our hearts. He was an accomplished professional Chartered Accountant and a distinguished member of the community with a career spanning over 40 years, including being a Partner at KPMG and the predecessor firms.
He was a loyal friend to the very many whose lives he touched and had multiple close friendships that lasted decades. He will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at 11 a.m. That will be followed by the Internment of Ashes, St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. Celebration of Life gathering to be held later that day and further details to be provided. Special thanks are given to the caring staff at The University of Florida Health Shands Hospital, Neuromedicine Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Donations in memory of Terry can be made to The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation, The Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation or Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Pembroke.
