Terrence Michael Burke Wednesday June 29th 2022

BURKE, Terrence “Terry”
February 28, 1941 – June 29, 2022
Terry Burke was taken from us suddenly after a brief battle with lung cancer complicated by heart issues. Husband, best friend and high school sweetheart of Lynda Burke (nee Wardle), father of Erin (Kirk Prior) and grandfather to Declan Prior. Terry will be deeply missed by brother Frank (Liz) and siblings ‘in-law’ Janet Regan, Fred Wardle and Beth Bruder (Ken), along with many heartbroken nieces, nephews and dear friends. Terry had a long and successful career in both paper and publishing sales that took him from Toronto to Boca Raton, FL. With a natural interest in learning about people from all walks of life, Terry made many friends over the years and never forgot a face or a name. In retirement Terry had enjoyed travelling, golf and life in Ocala, FL and in Presqu’ile, ON. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements in care of the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton, ON (613) 475-2121. Online condolences at www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
