Terrence Joseph Terry McSheffrey Monday October 31st 2022

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Terry McSheffrey who died peacefully at home on October 31, 2022 with his family by his side. Terry was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer in June 2022.
He fought a short but courageous battle. Terry is the beloved son of Agnes McLaughlin and the late Herbie McSheffrey.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 22 years, Lorna and their twins Cole and Madison. Dear brother of Victor (Mary) Ottawa, Ontario, Peter (Kelly) Winchester, Ontario and his twin sister Teresa, Moncton, NB.
He is also survived by his nephews Daniel (Samantha), Steven and great-nephew Francis.
We would like to thank the Georges Dumont Hospital’s Oncology team, especially Dr. Eve St-Hilaire, the Emergency Department and the Palliative Department for their compassion and care.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, Ontario at 11:00a.m. Family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at 11:00a.m., reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Terry’s memory can be made to Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre – Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department, 330 University Avenue, Moncton, New Brunswick.
