Terence O’Reilly
February 11, 1928 – October 3, 2022
Surrounded by his loving family, our Dad peacefully returned to the caring arms of our Lord after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Dolores; son Sheldon; and grandson Andrew. Leaving with treasured and lasting memories his children: Gerard (Debbie), Beverly (Lewis), Annetta, Terralynn (Carl), Darlene (Terry) and Sherry (Dwight);17 cherished grandchildren; great-grandchildren; along with a very large circle of relatives and friends. Dad’s love and devotion to his family, his church and his community made him whole. He was dedicated to serving and found joy in his volunteer work. Dad has touched so many hearts over so many decades. Dad was either calling bingo at Corpus Christi, being a layperson at mass, comforting and assisting families in his bereavement work, delivering Meals on Wheels, or making sure his monthly donations were made to his chosen charities. Dad was wherever he was needed and was always there to serve. He was a 4thdegree member of the Knights of Columbus Fr.J.B. Kent Council. Dad spent 40 years with NL Power. Post retirement in 1988, he started O’Reilly Homes Ltd. continuing the carpentry work that he loved so much. Dad, your work on earth is done. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd.
