Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, June 6, 2022.
Clifford Edward (Ted) Vanstone of Goderich in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of Nancy (Whittaker) Vanstone and the late Lorraine Vanstone.
Dear father of Kelly Parson (Dean) of Edmonton, AB and Sean Vanstone (Kristan) of Thamesford. Also survived by his step children David Bourassa (Sandra) of Barrie, Diane Lauzon (late Rob) of Goderich, Donna Sobecki of Goderich, Joanne Bourassa of Barrie, Rick Bourassa of Goderich, Jack Bourassa (Lori) of Angus, George Whittaker (Teresa) of Komoka and Donna Whittaker (Duncan) of Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Joan Vasella (Carl) of Chatsworth.
Predeceased by his brother Jim Vanstone, sisters Phyllis Fulford, Glenda Littlechild, Patricia Thurlow and his granddaughter Patricia Lauzon. Ted will be greatly missed by his constant companion, Sunny.
At Ted’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109, 56 Kingston Street, Goderich on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Interment of ashes in Colborne Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the OSPCA would be greatly appreciated.
