Macfarlane T. June (nee Turner)
Passed peacefully at Billing’s Court Manor on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 98. June was the loving wife of the late Lorne Macfarlane (d.2004); the devoted mother of Donald Macfarlane and Thomas Macfarlane; proud grandmother of Cheryl, Robert and Charlotte, and Great Grandmother of Miller and Ambrose.
June was a notable Performer and Artist. She was a dancer and choreographer with the Victory Entertainers during WWll and a long time member of the Geritol Follies of Hamilton. Her work in clay carving and as a travelling teacher (ceramics) brought her many awards, including Best of Canada Show.
June will be deeply missed by all her extended family and friends.
Visitation and funeral will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington (one stoplight north of the QEW) on Wednesday, May4th 2022. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and the service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
