Obituary of Sylvia Robins
It is with great sadness, the family of Sylvia Robins (nee Bourgon) announces her passing on Saturday, November 12, 2022 peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. She was 89 years of age.
Sylvia will be reunited with her beloved husband William Robins. She is predeceased by her parents Laurette Bourgon (nee Stafford) and Romuald Bourgon, brothers Gerald Bourgon, Ronald Bourgon, her sister Claudette Deaves and brothers-in-law Edwin (Ted) Collingwood and Ronald Lachance.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters Joanne Corby nee Robins and Nancy Brohman (Wayne), and her son Tom Robins (Marie), her sisters Lorraine Lachance and Muriel Collingwood and her sister-in-law Marilyn Bourgon.
Sylvia will be missed by her grandchildren Kristen Robins (Paul Mancini), Mandy Dupuis (Chris), Billy Robins (Amy), Scott Brohman (Melody) and her great grandchildren Jaxon, Bella, Leo and Beckett. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will follow immediately afterwards in the Chapel.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Brockville General Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for their wonderful support and care. Sylvia was treated with respect and dignity.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Ottawa Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
