Obituary of Sylvia Pauline Corkum
CORKUM, Sylvia Pauline – age 80 of Middlewood passed away peacefully April 22, 2022, in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Roger and Clara (Oickle) Whynot. Surviving is her husband, Carl; daughter, Belinda; son, Paul; sisters, Christine, Evelyn, Betty; brothers, Borden, Dennis; grandchild, Catherine. The family wishes to thank the staff at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, and Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg for the exceptional care shown to Sylvia while in their care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. By request, there will be no visitation or service at this time.
