The passing of Susan Unger, age 90 occurred on December 21, 2022. She was born in Mexico on May 18, 1932, to Canadian parents who had immigrated to Mexico. Susan was married to John Unger on April 15, 1951 (deceased July 5, 2015).
Susan is survived by her son John (Betty) and her daughter Nettie (Ken) Wiebe; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister Katharina Friesen.
She was predeceased by her: parents Cornelius and Aganetha Wall; husband John Unger; daughter Anna Unger; and siblings, Helena, Abram, Aron, Isaak and John.
We mourn the loss of our dear Mom, but we want to celebrate her life and share with you the blessing we’ve had to call her our MOM.
The Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:30pm at the Gruenthal Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Gruenthal, SK.
We also want to thank all the caregivers at the Mennonite Nursing Home for the care given to Susan.
Interment will take place at Gruenthal Cemetery.
