Obituary
McLaughlin, Susan (nee Legacy) (July 12, 1956- November 23, 2022). It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Patricia McLaughlin. Loving wife and best friend to recently deceased Randy Swec and predeceased by her parents Pauline and Eugene Legacy. Sue was a Mama Bear through and through to her children David (Amanda) and Chantelle (Tito). She was a special sister, a life long friend to her “lovee” Teresa, an avid horse lover and the most adored “Grama Sue”. From the birth of her first grandchild where she immediately claimed the license plate “Grama Sue” to her excitement over the most recent news of a new baby to love on the way, her grandchildren were the joy to her life. Austin, Brooklyn and Leo always knew the luxuries they would be spoiled with at “Grama Sue and Pa’s Hotel”. Though her family grieves her loss, they take comfort in knowing she will be reunited with the love of her life. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aunt Kathy for her support, companionship and regular check ins. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Patterson Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place, and the family will be honouring Sue’s life intimately with immediate family. As Christmas has always been Sue’s favourite time of year, we encourage everyone to think of her and reflect on positive memories this holiday season.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Susan McLaughlin July 12 1956 November 23 2022..
