Susan Lynn Dickie
November 9, 1959 – October 21, 2022
Who Knows?
Who knows where the road has a turning
Who knows where the river will bend
Who know how far I must travel
Ere I reach my journey’s end.
Till there! on the distant horizons
In the beautiful sunset glow
I catch a glimpse of the Rockies
And I am home at last I know.
(Written by Winnifred Dragland, 1962)
Susan was a loving, caring person who devoted much of her life to helping others working as a health care aide in Alberta and Saskatchewan. She loved her daughter Theresa Lawrence and grandchildren Nathan and Ariana so much that when things changed, and she needed a new start, she moved west to Pincher Creek. She loved the scenery therefore she stayed.
She took road trips to explore the mountains and met her new family with Thomas Walker. Susan was introduced to motorcycle touring and loved everywhere she traveled.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
