It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sue Lebano (nee Hummell) in Quebec on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife for 47 years of Louis Lebano of Hawkesbury. Loving mother of Anthony Lebano (Natalie Therrien) of Monkland and Allison Giroux (nee Lebano) (Steve) of Long Sault. Cherished grandmother of Sebastien Therrien, Austin and Talia Lebano, Connor and Jordan Giroux. Dear sister of Kim Irvine and Rhonda Hummell both of Cornwall. She is predeceased by her parents; Gerald Hummell and Constance Hummell (nee McMillan). Sue spent a large portion of her working career at Corus Entertainment and the Cornwall Standard Freeholder. She was also a dedicated volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Liver Foundation and was past president for the Cornwall Sunrise Rotary Club and a member of the Cornwall Canadian Legion. As per Sue’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral will take place on Friday, July 29th, 2022 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Memorial donations in Sue’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association.
