Larry Edward Stremble – April 23, 1955-November 14, 2022
Larry passed peacefully in his 67th year, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the amazing doctors and nurses at Hamilton General Hospital. Larry is survived by the love of his life, Ruth (45 years) and his only daughter, Danielle and her partner Jim Barker. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Barbara Bambi and Jannelle Woodworth, his sister-in-law Mary Redish (Adrian Redish) and brother-in-law Ted Roman, and all of his nieces and nephews.
Larry was the ultimate macho man, always keeping busy with dirty hands, loving all things bikes and cars and anything mechanical. He was a maintenance millwright by trade, which fed his passion for figuring out how things worked, how to make them work better and how to put them back together when they broke. Larry was the type of man who could tell a story that would keep the whole room entertained for hours, full of ups and downs, but always lots of laughs. His love was so deep for things like duck hunting, riding Harley’s and anything to do with his wife and daughter. Larry was a larger than life man with the biggest personality who was everybody’s friend.
“He could put you in your place but would give you the shirt off his back if you ever needed help”
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. As per Larry’s wishes a cremation has taken place and his ashes will be scattered in a few of his favorite spots.
A drop-in style celebration of life will be held at J.W. Hart Funeral Home at 113 Lock Street East in Dunnville Ontario on November 26 from 1pm-4pm. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
