STEWART Roger 1946 2022

STEWART, Roger
1946 – 2022
Roger passed away peacefully at the Blanche River Health Kirkland Lake, surrounded by his family, on Friday, July 15th, 2022, at the age of 75. Roger was a kind and loving husband to Irene, and a fantastic father to Mark and Michael.
In addition to his wife, Irene, and sons, Mark (Janice Ranger) and Michael (Tania), Roger is survived by his brother Bobby (Donna). He was preceded in passing by his parents, Hubert and Elizabeth, his sister, Sandra, and brothers, Charlie, Brian, Barry, and Donny. Roger will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Roger was not able to see many of his friends and family in the short time he had left but he wants them to know that he loves them.
Roger lived his life and with strength and humility. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for lifelong learning. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, astronomy, geology, fine-scale model building and playing bluegrass on his banjo.
Roger’s family is grateful to everyone that helped them during this difficult time, including the palliative care team at Blanche River Health. In keeping with Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held with his family.
“Let us remember – but let us not dwell. Let us laugh and let us embrace and venerate everything that life is and every opportunity it gives us.”

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of STEWART Roger 1946 2022..
